How does it work?

This state-of-the-art system safely removes unwanted hair, with less discomfort on ALL skin types.  The laser produces a beam of concentrated light which is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle.  This destroys the pigment along with the cells that produce the hair.  The laser applicator has a chilled tip that reduces skin temperature and increases the level of comfort.  The chill tip allows us to treat all shades of skin.  All hair follicles do not grow at any one given time.  To maximize the total reduction of the hair, these treatments are given at regular intervals.

What to expect

The length of time on an individual treatment depends on the size of the area being treated.  After a treatment you can immediately return to normal activity.  As mentioned earlier, multiple treatments will be necessary to destroy all hair during each growth cycle.

Pain is minimal and usually described as a tingling feeling.  However, certain sensitive areas of your skin can be numbed with a topical anesthetic cream.

After treatment the skin may be red with slight swelling depending on the person.  This is usually minimal and disappears in a short time.
